In his speech to the Council of States, which was held on the premises of Parliament, Eng. Mohamed Abdul Karim Alhodd, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities and Wildlife, explained the ministry's vision for the development of comprehensive tourist renaissance and activate the various aspects of the tourism sector in line with the country's resources and huge potential in this area.

Where Mr. Minister said that the ministry began to work on the reorganization and modernization of the flow of work in the Wildlife and Antiquities sectors, and the removal of obstacles , in addition to paying attention to other sectors.

 In the same context, Mr. Minister explained the  constraints faced by the field of tourism investment in the country, noting that the state has to direct more attention to tourism, considering it a major economic anchor with  its cultural and social dimensions.

He also stressed the importance of increasing the size of the tourist police forces.

In conclusion, the minister stressed the ministry’s  hard efforts to bring about a major shift in the tourism sector and strengthen the country's position in the global tourism market.
